Our Team
Dr.Vince Galati
Dr. Vince Galati is a clinic director at Chiromedics Health Centre in Markham Ontario, practicing as a chiropractor, acupuncture practitioner and certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Dr. Galati completed his Honours Bachelors degree with Distinction in Health Sciences from The University of Western Ontario in 2003. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2007, where he also obtained his diploma in Clinical Acupuncture. Dr. Galati is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Chiropractic Associations as well as the Acupuncture Council of Ontario. Dr. Galati helps patients achieve optimal health by providing pain relief, improving body strength and promoting healthy lifestyle changes. He prides himself on using the most innovative, evidence-based treatment therapies available and tailoring these therapies to individual patient needs.
Dr.Christos Topos
Dr. Christos Topos is a Clinic Director at Chiromedics Health Centre. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007 with Cum Laude Honours. He has completed the Clinical Acupuncture Certificate Program from CMCC, which combines biomedical acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory. Dr. Topos is certified in ART® (Active Release Techniques) and is familiar with numerous chiropractic adjusting techniques. He is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, and the Acupuncture Council of Ontario. Dr. Topos firmly believes in the therapeutic power of alternative medicine for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions; a belief that is constantly being reaffirmed by the positive outcomes of his patients. He is dedicated to the promotion of optimal health through education, nutrition and an active lifestyle. As a strong believer in the body’s natural healing abilities, Dr. Topos incorporates chiropractic care and acupuncture for the treatment of numerous conditions. He is committed to the recovery of his patients in the shortest amount of time possible, as well as giving patients the tools to prevent further injuries.
Dr.Paul Dhotar
Dr. Tejinderpaul Dhotar is a Clinic Director at Chiromedics Health Centre. He graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2007. He was also the recipient of the Stephane Julien award for the graduating student who demonstrated the greatest dedication to helping others. Dr. Dhotar was the President of the Motion Palpation Institute Technique Club in his final year of studies. This club was devoted to educating other students about efficient adjustment techniques while at the same time refining their skills. He also holds a Certificate of Clinical Acupuncture from CMCC; a program that melds contemporary medical acupuncture with core Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. Dhotar undertook an Honours Bachelors in Kinesiology from McMaster University. Dr. Dhotar has extensive experience working in a clinical setting both prior to and during his studies. As a result of this, he has experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, as well as implementing rehabilitation protocols for motor vehicle accident victims and related ailments. Through the use of well rounded treatment protocols that include chiropractic adjustments, electrotherapeutic modalities, soft tissue techniques, exercise/stretch prescription, nutritional/lifestyle counseling, postural assessment, and foot orthotic therapy, Dr. Dhotar assesses and treats his patients from a holistic yet evidence-based perspective.
Joseph Chan
Joseph Chan is a recent graduate of the massage therapy program at Sutherland-Chan: School and Teaching Clinic.  He is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Ontario Massage Therapy Association (OMTA).   During his time at Sutherland-Chan, Joseph was fortunate enough to be exposed to a variety of clinical conditions.  He has received extensive training in treatment-based massage and relaxation massage.  As well, he has experience working with clients with CNS disorders (i.e. Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy),the elderly, and cancer patients.  Prior to his massage therapy training, Joseph completed his degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University in 2004.  After graduating from university, he gained certification as a Certified Fitness Consultant (CFC), where he performs fitness appraisals in accordance to the Canadian Physical Activity and Lifestyle Appraisal (CPAFLA).
